In the background, you can see the promised land. We cannot walk into our promised land unless we first uproot the kingdom of darkness in our own hearts. This painting represents personal reformation which proceed territorial reformation. Reformation is making the crooked ways straight. Reformation begins in our heart first. Righteousness will rule the land, but it has to rule us first. Once we allow GOD to teach us to uproot darkness in our own hearts then we can enter into our promised land and tear down entire kingdoms of darkness.
