IN 2010 I ENCOUNTERED JESUS. 2 Weeks after I surrendered my life to Him, I was introduced to a group of Kingdom Creatives in Orlando, FL. called EVOKE MINISTRIES. The leaders of that ministry (Scott Howe and Jim McMahel) and fellow member (Susan Gromala) took me under their wing and exposed me to the endless facets of Creative Ministry. (details to come in a blog) After 2 years God invited us to Armenia, Colombia where we took 8 creatives into the mission field to see what GOD would do. It was life changing (blog to come).  We not only went on assignment but came back with a desire to do more and to steward the locals in creative ministry. For 7 years we continued to visit 3-4 times a year and so much of who I am today was developed in the streets of Colombia.

For 10 years God also allowed me to go on a variety of creative assignments overseas in other countries over 30+times. Locally in Orlando I was being discipled and helping disciple creatives of all sorts.  I served in my church for 12 years in all capacities, I volunteered 1 year in the inner city and helped build a team to do bible studies with the neighborhood kids. I volunteered 3 years in a troubled teen residential program as an art teacher. I volunteered 1.5 years in a safe house for trafficking survivors as an art teacher and bible study teacher. My wife and I led the kids ministry in our church for 2 years. I volunteered in a homeless teen shelter for a few months. Spent 2 Summers in California teaching art and murals to multiple public schools and hundreds of elementary and middle school students. There's so much more but the heart was to learn. Learn hearts, learn people, learn GOD. and learn how to use my one gift of creativity a thousand ways. (many blogs to come on all these)!
